Role Definition

Manages the Hydraulic Mining Shovel value chain and resource planning by working with logistics, operations, product and process engineering, product support, and lifecycle management teams to optimize supply chain resiliency, lead time, and cost.

Responsibilities

Managing staffing, development, and performance management programs for value chain engineering teams; motivating and developing project and team leaders.

Designing and implementing the end to end value chain for a product with a keen focus on inventory, assurance of supply, cost and quality

Managing high-impact, long duration value chain engineering continuous improvement initiatives and projects; ensuring achievement of engineering plan and product quality.

Managing risk and recovery related to foreseeable and unforeseeable value chain disruptions.

Management of Batam facility Pre-Delivery Audit (PDA) inspection team and process

Business Acumen: Knowledge of business concepts, tools, and processes that are needed for making sound decisions in the context of the companys business; ability to apply this knowledge appropriately to diverse situations.

Strategic Sourcing: Knowledge of strategic sourcing methods, technologies and processes; ability to analyze, improve and re-evaluate organizational procurement process continuously.
