Transmission Design Responsibility

Develop and generate 3D models and 2D engineering drawings for new and enhanced reducer/gearbox assemblies and components.Collaborate with motor and vehicle integration teams to ensure system-level compatibility.Ensure gearbox designs meet regulatory and safety standards.Assist in the preparation of technical data packages for design reviews and CalculationsDesign of components inline with DFM casting & Plastic requirementsAble to apply geometric functional & Tolerancing & validate the same by stackup analysisDesign support for proto samples & Testing/Process FixturesEnsure quality deliverables before deliveryContribute to the efficiency improvement by producing fast or automated processesApply CAD methodologies and manage product definition file into PLMEnsure compliance with environmental and quality standards

Professional Experience

3-5 years of experience in gearbox design and development, preferably in the automotive or EV sector.Hands on experience in drivetrain comExperience with gear calculation /design/simulation software is required.Good understanding of GD&T, Stack up analysis (3DCS added advantage)

Competence

Strong understanding of gear design principles and tribology -SKILLED

Knowledge of EV drivetrain architecture and integration challenges -SKILLED

Effective communication and technical reporting-SKILLED

Knowledge of Casting and Gear cutting processes -SKILLED

Proficiency in CAD and simulation tools-(e.g., CATIA and MASTA /KISSSOFT/ ROMAX)-EXPERIENCED
