Your role is pivotal in enhancing our software delivery processes and maintaining a reliable infrastructure. You will work at the intersection of technology, collaborating with development teams to streamline the deployment, delivery, and management of software products. Your contributions will directly impact our ability to deliver high-quality software to our users efficiently.

Responsibilities:Design, implement, and maintain cloud infrastructure solutions on AWS, leveraging best practices for scalability, reliability, and securityLead the adoption and implementation of AWS services and features to optimize infrastructure performance, cost efficiency, and operational excellenceConfigure and manage AWS services such as VPC, VPN, EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, and EKS to support the deployment and operation of containerized applications and microservicesDevelop and maintain infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools such Terraform to provision and manage AWS resources in a repeatable and automated mannerImplement monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions to ensure the health and performance of cloud-based applications and servicesCollaborate with development teams to optimize application architecture and performance for cloud environments, providing guidance on cloud-native design principles and best practicesLead incident response and troubleshooting efforts for AWS infrastructure and services, identifying root causes and implementing preventive measures to minimize downtime and impact on operationsMentor and coach junior DevOps engineers, sharing knowledge and expertise in AWS technologies, DevOps methodologies, and cloud architecture principlesStay current with AWS services, features, and updates, evaluating new technologies and tools to drive innovation and improve operational efficiency

Requirements

Minimum of 5 years of experience in a DevOps/Cloud Engineering, with at least 4 years of hands on experience designing, deploying and managing AWS based infrastructureAWS Certification such as AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, AWS Certified Solutions Architect or AWS Certified SysOps Administrator would be an added advantageExperience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, CircleCI, or GitLab CI/CDProficiency in infrastructure provisioning tools like TerraformDeep knowledge of AWS services including EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, EKS, VPC, IAM, CloudWatch, and CloudTrailProven track record of leading technical projects, mentoring junior team members, and driving initiatives to successful completionAbility to thrive in a fast-paced, agile environment, with a passion for learning and staying current with emerging technologies and best practices in cloud computing and DevOpsStrong commitment to security best practices and compliance standards, with experience implementing and maintaining security controls in AWS environments
