About the Role
The Technology Product Owner is responsible for representing the customer's needs and requirements for an IT product. This role involves defining and prioritizing product features, maintaining the overall product vision, and working closely with the development team to ensure the product meets customer expectations. The Product Owner also manages the product backlog, communicates with stakeholders, and monitors product performance to identify necessary changes or improvements. The ultimate goal is to drive business value and support the organization in achieving its strategic objectives.

Primary Responsibilities
Define the product vision, roadmap, and strategy in alignment with the company's goals and objectives.Communicate with stakeholders and business teams to understand business needs and collaborate with cross-functional teams to build optimal solutions.Prioritize features and tasks, groom the product backlog to meet market needs, and collaborate with developers to ensure timely delivery and quality standards.Coordinate with cross-functional teams to plan and deliver successful product releases.Apply Agile methodologies such as Scrum, Kanban, and Lean Startup to ensure efficient and timely product delivery.Analyze data and metrics to track product performance and identify areas for improvement.
Secondary Responsibilities
Support continuous improvement initiatives within the product development lifecycle.Facilitate communication between technical teams and business stakeholders.Ensure alignment of product features with customer feedback and market trends.
What We Are Looking For
Education
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Experience
6+ years proven experience in Banking, Financial Services and Insurance (BFSI) or IT sector.Demonstrated experience in product ownership or product management roles.Experience working in Agile environments and with cross-functional teams.
Skills and Attributes
Strong understanding of product lifecycle and Agile methodologies.Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.Ability to analyze data and metrics to drive product decisions.Strategic thinking and problem-solving capabilities.Proficiency in tools such as JIRA, Confluence, and other product management platforms.
