SAP MM Product Manager – LL6 (Primary Skill – Product Development; Secondary – Program management)

Understand the current business process across all regions / plants.Independently guide and mentor junior team members, fostering their development and ensuring high-quality deliverables.Understand the functionality of current Legacy Material requirements Planning (MRP) and associated upstream and downstream systemsWork with various stakeholders to study the transformation of current process / legacy systems to Industry best standards / technology/ systems focusing on the SAP MM modulePerform Requirements Gathering, Business Analysis, and Fit-Gap / Fit-to-Standard Analysis to understand the as-is/to-be states and identify key functionality / process gapsRecommend possible technology / process solution to address gapsDevelop roadmap / transformation map without impacting the operationsDeploy SAP S/4 MM across various sites globally and integrate with both legacy & other best-in-breed applicationsProvide recommendations for continuous improvementDefining the overall test strategy, scope, and approach for the project. Preparing and managing test plans, test scenarios, and test schedules. Coordinating SIT, UAT, regression, and other testing phases with functional and technical teams. Leading and mentoring the testing team, assigning tasks, and tracking progress. Ensuring defects are logged with proper analysis, prioritization, and follow-up until closure. Collaborating closely with business users, developers, functional consultants, and project managers. Monitoring test coverage, quality metrics, risks, and issue resolution timelines. Driving daily status reviews and providing clear reporting on testing progress, blockers, and quality status. Ensuring test evidence, documentation, and sign-offs are completed as per governance standards.Work closely with product owners and product anchors to establish an inclusive product roadmap for Production planning and Inventory management business transformationLead the blueprinting sessions to understand the Production Planning business requirements, work closely with functional and technical consultants and product owners to derive an overall solution.Handle the release and cutover of SAP MMP program. Analyze the need for customization and prioritize the RICEFW objects and size them Ensure the product roadmap and prioritization is aligned across other product teamsCreate functional specification, Key design document, prototypes or Proof-of-Concepts wherever requiredCollaborate with integration team to Integrate SAP MMP system with other supply chain downstream and up-stream systemHave good functional knowledge on IDOC’s, BADI, Fiori applications etc.Troubleshooting and resolving functional issues related to the SAP MM system.Collaborating with the technical team to understand and implement business requirements.Ensuring the system is performing optimally and securely.Minimum of 13+ years of relevant experience Industry process knowledge, solution expertise, consultation skills in SAP MMExcellent understanding of the overall SAP MM solution and how it is implemented in conjunction with other components of the S/4 HANA modules like SAP Production Planning and SAP PPDSGood knowledge on automotive assembly and manufacturing domain with good communication skillsExperience in SAP MM module configurationExperience working in SAP S4 Hana environmentHandled / worked with global teamsAutomotive experience is preferred Support in an onshore/offshore model is preferred Respect and empathy for team members, business partner and product customer Excellent at problem solving and prevention.Knowledge and practical experience of agile delivery Demonstrated ability to deliver product roadmap milestonesRespect and empathy for team members, business partner and product customer Should possess complete knowledge of every phase of SAP implementation including creation of business blueprint, implementation, data migration, cutover and go-liveAbility to discover what is valuable, usable, and feasible acting in the intersection of business, technology and user experience.Have a strong pulse on the business / IT landscape to determine how to rigorously prioritize features to best suit the market conditions.Experience in Agile methodology effectively when performing all tasks.
