Role Description The Sales Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Chennai, responsible for driving revenue and market share for Accor hotels in the assigned territory. This role involves identifying and developing new business opportunities, nurturing relationships with corporate, travel trade, and key accounts, and executing sales strategies aligned with brand and regional objectives. The Sales Manager will conduct regular client meetings, sales calls, and property visits, prepare proposals and contracts, and manage the end-to-end sales cycle from lead generation to closing. The role includes analyzing market trends and competitor activity, preparing sales reports and forecasts, and collaborating closely with revenue management, marketing, and operations teams to optimize performance and guest satisfaction. The Sales Manager is also expected to represent Accor at events, trade shows, and networking activities to enhance brand visibility.

Qualifications

Strong sales and business development skills, including lead generation, account management, and negotiation.Experience in hospitality or a related service industry, with knowledge of hotel sales, corporate and MICE segments.Excellent communication and presentation abilities, with proficiency in building and maintaining client relationships.Ability to analyze sales data, market trends, and competitor performance to inform strategy and decision-making.Proven organizational and time-management skills, with capacity to handle multiple accounts and priorities.Bachelor’s degree in Business, Hospitality Management, Marketing, or a related field; equivalent experience may be considered.Comfort working in a fast-paced environment, with a collaborative mindset and commitment to guest-focused outcomes.Proficiency in standard office software and CRM tools; familiarity with hotel PMS or sales systems is an advantage.Willingness to travel locally and regionally as required for client meetings, events, and property visits.
