Core Responsibilities

Carrying out various piping activities and preparation of deliverables as identified in the Functional Competencies as necessary on their assigned project.Ensuring engineering and design quality, technical accuracy of drawings, material quantities etc.Adhering to company’s engineering procedures for design safety and adopting safe attitudes towards engineering design and raising features affecting the safety and integrity of the project with appropriate authorities.Lead 3D Model preparation for piping and coordination with all other discipline requirements.Review / Produce 2D piping layout, isometrics, MTOs, bill of material, pipe support drawings, Pipe rack design input, and vendor drawing reviews.Produce optimum pipe routing based on the project requirement and complete the piping plan, isometric and BOM in working with Draftsman / Designers.Should be familiar with the preparation of shop drawings for fabrication of piping.Must be familiar with relevant design & ASME, IS, DIN, and BS codes.Coordination with inter discipline, Vendor and clientsPreparing technical documents such as Tie-in schedule, Line List, Valve List, Data sheets. Specification and Procurement / RFQ: Prepare technical specifications for Valves, PSVs, Piping components, etc. and work with vendors to procure the required components. Evaluate proposals and make recommendations based on technical and budgetary considerations.Confirm compliance with customer specifications for equipment and material types;Review and approve drawings and documents from Vendors.Collaborate with Technical project manager to plan and execute projects on time and on budgeted manhours.Participate in project meetings, lead design reviews, and progress assessments to ensure project objectives are met.Quality Control and Compliance: Ensure that all Electrical designs and installations comply with applicable codes, standards, and industry best practices. Conduct quality control reviews to verify design integrity and safety.
