Full job description
Introducing Paperflite:
Paperflite is a fast-growing tech company that's changing how businesses connect with their audience. We’ve developed a suite of innovative products—Paperflite, Cleverstory, heysales, SEEK and Moonshot —that help revenue teams tell their stories better. Our tools empower global brands like Louis Vuitton, Grammarly and Harvard Medical School to communicate dynamically and build lasting relationships with their clients.
We're not just a startup - we're a globally recognised company with a proven track record of success. Our work has earned us a spot on Forbes' America's Best Startup Employers list for three years in a row, and we're rated as the Most Recommended Software by leading industry analysts like Capterra and Trustradius. We're also proud to be ranked among the Top 50 Software Companies by G2, a leading tech marketplace. Our products are trusted by top companies across a wide range of industries, including healthcare, finance, fashion, and technology, a testament to the real-world impact you'll have with us.
About the role:
Paperflite is a B2B SaaS revenue enablement platform. Our design team works across brand, web, product marketing, video and events. We're looking for a Motion Graphics Designer who sees a brief as a problem to solve, not just a script to animate. You'll decide how an idea should move, look and land with the audience. You'll use AI as a real part of your workflow to get there faster without lowering the bar.
What you'll do:
Own your projects end to end. Take a brief from first conversation to final delivery: clarify the goal, plan the approach, set timelines, chase feedback and ship. You don't need to be reminded where things stand.
Find a better way to tell the story. Don't just execute the first idea. Explore two or three directions (metaphor, pacing, visual system, format) and recommend the one that explains the point most clearly for the audience it's meant for.
Build AI into your workflow. Use generative tools for ideation, style frames, asset generation, upscaling, cleanup and versioning. The goal is to cut production time while keeping the output on-brand.
Get predictable results from AI, efficiently. Write structured prompts, keep reusable prompt templates and references, and know which model or tool suits which job. Iterate with intent instead of brute-force regenerating, so you spend less time and fewer credits per usable output.
Work across teams. Take requirements from marketing, product, sales and leadership. Ask the right questions up front, push back when a brief is unclear, and follow team processes for briefs, reviews, versioning and handoff.
Ship on time. Manage several projects at once, flag risks early, and hit deadlines without last-minute surprises.
Stay current. Track motion design trends, new techniques and AI tools. Bring what's useful back to the team and ignore the hype.
What we're looking for:
3–4 years of professional motion design experience, from an in-house team, a creative or digital agency, or a studio. Range across clients and formats is welcome.
Strong After Effects skills, plus solid working knowledge of Premiere Pro and Figma/Illustrator
Strong fundamentals in timing, easing, typography in motion, composition and visual hierarchy
Comfortable turning abstract product ideas into clear, simple visuals
Must have: proven experience using AI tools and frameworks on real projects, not just experiments. That means image and video generation and editing tools (e.g. Runway, Kling, Firefly, Midjourney or similar), and a working understanding of how to steer them through prompt structure, reference images, consistency across shots and choosing the right model, so the results are reliable rather than lucky
Ability to explain your creative choices and accept critique well
A portfolio that shows thinking as well as polish
Nice to have:
Blender expertise (modelling, lighting, rendering for motion work)
Color grading in DaVinci Resolve
Sound design basics
Along with your application, please share:
Your portfolio link (Behance, Vimeo, personal site or a Drive folder with view access).
One project breakdown that covers:The brief
The directions you explored and why you chose the final one
How you used AI: which tools, what you used them for, and what time or effort it saved
