Job Summary:**
VALEO INDIA PRIVATE LIMITED is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented CAD Intern to support our engineering teams in the design and development of innovative automotive components. This role offers a valuable opportunity to gain practical experience in a fast-paced industrial environment.
Job Responsibilities:**
Assist senior engineers in creating, modifying, and managing 2D and 3D CAD models using industry-standard software (e.g., Catia, SolidWorks, AutoCAD). Prepare detailed technical drawings, schematics, and layouts according to engineering specifications and company standards. Perform basic design calculations and simulations under guidance. Participate in design reviews and contribute to problem-solving discussions. Maintain accurate documentation of design revisions and project files. Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including R&D, manufacturing, and quality assurance. Support data management and organization of CAD files within the company's PDM/PLM system. Learn and apply company-specific design guidelines and best practices.
Job Qualifications:**
Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related field. Strong theoretical understanding of engineering principles and mechanics. Proficiency in at least one major CAD software (e.g., Catia, SolidWorks, AutoCAD) is mandatory. Familiarity with GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) principles is a plus. Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Good communication skills, both written and verbal. Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes.
