Job Description:

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Electrical Estimator to join our Pre-Construction team in Chennai. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing accurate electrical quantity estimates from BIM models and electrical drawings, supporting project planning and budgeting. You'll work with the Pre-Construction Manager to ensure precise estimations for electrical components and systems from the planning stage through pre-construction phases.

Responsibilities:

Extract and compile electrical quantity estimates from Revit BIM models

Read and interpret electrical drawings to identify and quantify electrical items

Prepare detailed electrical quantity assessments and take-offs for projects

Support project planning with accurate technical estimates and specifications

Maintain organized documentation and estimation databases

Communicate effectively with internal pre-construction teams

Collaborate with team members on project feasibility and planning

Qualification:

Education: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Diploma in Electrical Trade

Experience: Minimum 3+ years in electrical quantity estimation

Technical Skills: Basic proficiency in Revit for extracting quantities from BIM models

Communication: Strong English communication skills (verbal and written)

Core Competency: Ability to read electrical drawings and arrive at electrical item estimations

Project Experience: Experience with US-based projects (highly preferable)
