The role

A junior system & security engineer role at a motor vehicle parts manufacturing company, working on PKI, identity management, encryption, and endpoint/security access control. Responsibilities include system security requirement validation and security design, operating Linux/Windows (Windows Server and Windows 10), and using PowerShell, Python, and Bash scripting along with PKI/ACME concepts, firewall platforms (FortiNet, Palo Alto, Cisco ASA, Check Point), EDR tools (FireEye, CrowdStrike, CarbonBlack, CyberReason), encryption tools (RSA, AES, PGP; McAfee endpoint encryption, SafeNet), SIEM tools (QRadar, BlueCoat, Splunk), and Active Directory basics. Location is Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India with work mode not specified.

Responsibilities

Technical Requirements:

Expertise in PKI concepts. Knowledge in Identity Management (SSO, IAM)switching technologies(VLANs, Routing, Spanning Tree, ACL); Good Knowledge in Operating system – Windows server OS , Linux, Windows 10; Ability to work Linux Operating system and security.Validates and verifies system security requirements/definitions and analysis, establishes system security designs. Ability to work on End-Point security toolsAbility to work Encryption tools: preferably McAfee endpoint encryption, Safenet;Operational experience with security issues and access control mechanisms;Scripting using Powershell, Python, Bash.

Key Knowledge:(3 ~ 4 technology from the list is preferred ).

PKI - Internal & public PKI, ACMEFirewall concept - FortiNet, PaloAlto, Cisco ASA, CheckPoint etc.,EDR Tools - FireEye, CrowdStrike, CarbonBlack, CyberReasonEncryption Tools: RSA, AES, PGP etc.,McAfee: Drive Encryption, File & Folder Encryption, DLPSIEM Tools - QRadar, BlueCoat, Splunk etc.,Identity Management Wifi Security, Radius, Audits etc., Vulnerability Assessment - NESSUS, Qualys etc.,MDM - TrendMicro, VMWare AirWatch, MobileIron etc., Switching & Routing basicsActiveDirectory basics
