Typical Tasks And Responsibilities
Support and maintain Kubernetes cluster configurations, ensuring availability and performance for geographically aligned engineering teams and participating in structured handovers when requiredOwn and evolve Terraform‑based infrastructure, including state management, reviews, and best practicesCoordinate and execute production deployments in partnership with development teamsMaintain and improve CI/CD environments, including pipeline upgrades and reliability enhancementsPlan and execute Kubernetes cluster upgrades, identifying and mitigating compatibility risksRotate and manage SSL certificates, service accounts, and IAM permissionsAdminister CloudFront distributions, including configuration, monitoring, and optimizationTrack and report DevOps operational metrics such as release frequency, lead time, failure rates, and mean time to recoveryTroubleshoot infrastructure, networking, and deployment issues across cloud environmentsContinuously improve platform reliability, security posture, and operational efficiency

Leading the implementation of processes, tools, and methodologies to balance needs throughout the software development life cycleOptimizing the development process to bridge gaps between software development, engineering, and managementStriving for continuous improvement by building and enhancing continuous integration and deployment pipelinesDriving the creation of automated processes to minimize the time from commit to productionServing as a key liaison between development and operations teams to enable rapid product developmentIncreasing customer responsiveness by monitoring and optimizing application performanceEnsuring the creation of stable, deployable, and scalable operating environments through continuous infrastructure developmentMaintaining in-depth knowledge of development processes and programming languagesConsistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.Regular, consistent and punctual attendance.
