The Position
Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented, highly curious, and analytical Associate Analyst to join our growing analytics team. In this role, you will leverage technical capabilities such as SQL and Python to extract, manipulate, and analyze datasets to solve real-world problems.
This role is ideal for an early-career professional (0–2 years of experience) who combines strong logical thinking and data interpretation skills with an eagerness to dive into the Pharmaceutical & Life Sciences domain. You will work closely with stakeholders to translate complex data into compelling visual stories, while actively leveraging Generative AI tools to optimize workflows and drive data innovation.
Key Responsibilities
Data Analysis & Problem Solving
Extract, clean, and analyze structured and unstructured data using SQL and PythonApply logical thinking and structured analytical frameworks to break down complex business questions into actionable insightsPerform data validation and quality checks to ensure accuracy and integrity across reporting outputs
AI Integration & Innovation
Understand and apply Generative AI tools and techniques (e.g., prompt engineering, LLM-driven analysis, automated documentation) to streamline analytical workflows and enhance productivity
Data Visualization & Storyboarding
Translate raw analytical outputs into intuitive dashboard wireframes, visual reports, and data-driven narrativesDesign clear, impactful presentations/storyboards that communicate key insights and strategic recommendations to non-technical business partners
Domain Learning & Collaboration
Rapidly build subject-matter expertise in the Pharmaceutical domain (e.g., healthcare datasets, commercial analytics, clinical metrics)Collaborate with cross-functional teams, domain specialists, and senior leadership to support key project deliverablesCommunicate findings effectively through clear oral presentations and concise written documentation
Qualifications & Skills
Experience: 0–2 years of professional experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or a related quantitative roleTechnical Proficiency:Strong foundational skills in SQL & Python.Working knowledge or practical understanding of GenAI capabilitiesAnalytical Mindset: Excellent quantitative data interpretation skills with a structured, logical approach to problem-solvingData Storytelling: Proven ability or aptitude for data visualization and storyboardingDomain Eagerness: Strong enthusiasm and willingness to learn the intricacies of the global pharmaceutical and healthcare marketCommunication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the confidence to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiencesEducation: Bachelor’s/Master's degree in Pharma, Computer Science, Data Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, Economics, or a related quantitative discipline
