Data Analyst

We are seeking a junior Data Analyst / Business Analyst with a strong background in business intelligence tools, data transformation, and AI/ML technologies. The ideal candidate will have at least 3-5 years of experience working with Power BI, Tableau, and advanced data programming techniques. The role requires someone who is highly skilled in extracting, transforming, and modeling data, ensuring data quality, and utilizing generative AI to support business analysis and decision-making.

Responsibilities:

Extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from various sources to create optimized datasets for analysis.

Build and maintain data models to support business insights and decision-making.

Proactively mines data warehouses to identify trends and patterns and generate insights for business units and senior leadership.

Effectively uses tools to manipulate large-scale databases, synthesizing data insights.

Build reports, dashboards, and visualizations to democratize data insights.

Translate business requirements into clear feature definitions, functional specs, and user stories for AI use cases.

Create wireframes and user flows that turn requirements into intuitive, user-focused solution designs.

Use data storytelling to deliver business insights to improve stakeholder understanding and uptake.

Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their business problems and provide data-driven solutions.

Define and scope use cases that can benefit from AI solutions, such as forecasting, risk management, fraud detection, pricing, etc.

Ensure data quality and integrity by implementing and monitoring data quality tools and best practices.

Leverage programming languages such as SQL, Python, or R to automate data processes and enhance analysis capabilities.

Implement AI and ML solutions to provide predictive analytics, forecasting, and business automation.

Stay up to date with the latest trends and best practices in data analytics, AI, and ML.

Provide training and support to team members on BI tools, data processes, and AI/ML applications.

Requirements:

Required Skills: Data Visualisation using Power BI, Tableau, Streamlit, Data Modeling and Transformation, AI and Machine Learning, Data Quality Assurance, Programming (SQL, Python, R).

General Knowledge of business principles and processes.

Ability to translate business requirements into data and AI solutions.

Ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable insights.

Strong communication skills for translating technical concepts into common business terms for a non-technical audience.

Experience with generative AI technologies and applications.

Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.

Experience with statistical modeling, machine learning algorithms, and data mining.

Knowledge of industry-specific trends and practices in data analytics.

Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Business Analytics, Computer Science, or a related field.

At least 3-5 years of experience in data analysis, business analysis, or a related role.

Significant experience with statistical software (e. g., Python), database languages (e. g., SQL), and data visualization tools (e. g., Power BI, Tableau).

Hands-on experience with data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL).

Expertise in data modeling and creating complex datasets for business analysis.

Familiarity with AI/ML techniques and tools for predictive analysis and decision-making.

Advanced programming skills in SQL, Python, or R.

Experience with data quality tools and frameworks to ensure clean, reliable data.

Ability to work with both structured and unstructured data.

Strong communication skills with the ability to present technical information to non-technical stakeholders.

Proven ability to learn quickly and adapt to new technologies and tools.

Demonstrated ability to conceptualize business problems, develop frameworks, and produce business models to derive insights.
