Job Title HFC - Designer Location Pune/Chennai, India Work Hours & Onboarding Pre-Req "Work from office Public and festive holidays will follow Australian calendar. Preferred to have Mobile Phone with OS Version with IOS 26 /Andriod 16 or above as mandatory requirement under the recent Infosec guidelines from Client" Job Summary We are looking for Engineer HFC Network Design with experience in HFC - RF and AC design, CAD drafting, OSP network design, preparation of construction drawings, and engineering documentation. The successful candidate will contribute to the delivery of accurate, high-quality (100%), and constructible engineering designs while ensuring compliance Australian regulations and standards. Roles & Responsibility "OSP, Core & Aggregation Network Design Prepare construction-ready engineering drawings and HFC / FTTH OSP design packages including conduits, cable pathways, asset placement, and telecommunications infrastructure layouts.using AutoCAD. Develop underground pit & pipe, aerial, and mixed OSP network layouts based on customer standards and design guidelines. Produce engineering deliverables including construction drawings, cable routing plans, pit & pipe layouts, pole attachment drawings, BOMs, design notes, and as-built documentation. Design and deliver end-to-end fibre network solutions with the knowledge of FTTX, networks. Create Network Design Documents (NDD) with complete deliverables (BOM, configs, diagrams, fibre details, etc.). Incorporate engineering markups, redlines, and revisions into existing drawings. Engineering Support & Coordination Support field queries, engineering change requests, and redline updates. Coordinate with Project Coordinators, Integration team and Field teams for ensuring configuration & implementation. Quality Control & Compliance Ensure 100% Quality for the designs delivered. Perform self-quality checks before design submission Document Management & Continuous Improvement Maintain design records, project files, revision histories, and engineering documentation. Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on quality enhancement, efficiency, and productivity improvements." Mandatory Technical Skills "Strong experience in telecom/OSP Design tools as AutoCAD/SpatialNet/ GIS with multi-technology networks (HFC, FTTX, CMTS) Strong experience in HFC (Hybrid Fibre Coaxial) Network Design Outside Plant (OSP) Network Design Underground Pit & Pipe Design and Aerial Network Design Cable Routing and Telecommunications Infrastructure Planning Construction Drawing & Engineering Documentation Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, Visio) " Tools Skills and Equipment "AutoCAD/SpatialNet/ GIS & Network Design Tools Fibre/Copper Network Design/ FTTX Design OSP Network Design Microsoft Office Suite" "Educational Qualification & Experience " "Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Telecommunications or a related discipline or equivalent experience. 2- 4 years of experience in CAD drafting, OSP design, telecommunications engineering, utility network design, or related industries. Experience with Australian telecommunications projects will be preferred. Exposure to HFC network design and telecommunications infrastructure projects is advantageous. "
