The opportunity:

The Hitachi Energy Indian Operations Center (INOPC) is a global competence center with over 2600 engineers delivering innovative digital and engineering solutions. We are looking for a Backend Developer to support the development, modernization, and deployment of next-generation Sales Configurator and CPQ solutions that enable product configuration, pricing, BOM generation, visualization, and enterprise integrations.

How You’ll Make An Impact

Design, develop, and maintain scalable applications using C#, ASP.NET Core, .NET Framework/.NET Core, and Web APIs.Develop backend services and microservices for Sales Configurator and CPQ platforms.Design and implement REST APIs and integrations with Salesforce, SAP, MuleSoft, and other enterprise systems.Build and optimize business logic for product configuration, pricing, BOM generation, and document generation.Design secure, scalable, and high-performance application architectures following industry best practices.Develop and optimize SQL Server databases, stored procedures, and data models.Collaborate with frontend teams working on ReactJS, JavaScript, and Three.js-based applications.Deploy, monitor, and maintain applications on Microsoft Azure cloud environments.Manage CI/CD pipelines, release deployments, and application lifecycle activities across Development, Test, UAT, and Production environments.Participate in Agile development activities, code reviews, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement initiatives while ensuring on-time delivery.Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.Living Hitachi Energy’s core values of safety and integrity, which means taking responsibility for your own actions while caring for your colleagues and the business.

Your Background

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science Engineering, or a related field.4-8 years of hands-on experience in .NET technologies, including C#, ASP.NET Core, and Web API development.Strong understanding of Enterprise Application Architecture, Microservices, Design Patterns, and Scalable Systems.Experience developing and consuming REST APIs and enterprise integrations.Strong expertise in Microsoft SQL Server, database design, and query optimization.Experience with Microsoft Azure services and cloud-based application deployment.Good understanding of ReactJS, JavaScript/TypeScript, and modern web application development.Exposure to CPQ, Product Configurator, Sales Configurator, or similar enterprise solutions is preferred.Experience with Azure DevOps, Git, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps practices.Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills with the ability to work effectively in a global team environment.
