Business Administration Sales Professional

Division: Siemens Smart Infrastructure – Electrical Products (SIEP) Business Unit: Low Voltage Switchgear

Location: Chennai

Position Overview

The Business Administration Sales Professional is responsible for the end-to-end commercial execution of sales orders within the Low Voltage Switchgear business. This role ensures seamless order processing, commercial compliance, financial accuracy, and timely execution from order booking to order closure, supporting both internal stakeholders and customers.

Key Responsibilities

Commercial Execution of Sales OrdersManage the complete order execution lifecycle from order booking to invoicing and closure. Ensure alignment of orders with commercial terms, conditions, and contractual agreements. Validate and process customer purchase orders as per Siemens guidelines and policies. Monitor order status and ensure timely execution in coordination with internal teams. Financial & Commercial ManagementEnsure accurate revenue recognition, billing, and cash flow tracking. Monitor project financials including costs, margins, and profitability. Handle commercial risks and opportunities, ensuring proper mitigation and reporting. Manage invoicing, payment follow-ups, and closure of receivables.   Contract & Compliance ManagementReview contracts for commercial risks, compliance requirements, and deviations. Ensure adherence to Siemens compliance, export control, and legal policies. Maintain proper documentation for audits and internal controls. Channel Partner ManagementChannel Appointment. Setting of Credit Limit. Channel agreement. Due diligence of Channel partner. Calculation of Incentive as per policy and payout. Channel performance monitoring. Stakeholder CoordinationAct as a key interface between sales, project management, logistics, finance, and customers. Collaborate with the sales team to support commercial oƯers and order finalization. Coordinate with factories and supply chain teams for delivery commitments.
