Requirements:
12+ years of software engineering experience with a deep focus on backend development and architecture.
Strong hands-on expertise in Java and backend frameworks such as Spring / Spring Boot.
Proven experience designing and scaling distributed systems and microservices-based architectures.
Strong understanding of backend system design, API design, multithreading and concurrency, data structures and algorithms, database design, caching strategies, event-driven systems, and performance tuning.
Experience building high-throughput, low-latency, resilient backend services in production environments.
Hands-on experience with cloud-native architecture, containerisation, and modern deployment practices.
Strong knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, observability, logging, monitoring, and production operations.
Experience working with relational and NoSQL databases.
Proven ability to drive architecture reviews, code quality, and engineering best practices.
Strong collaboration and communication skills with the ability to work across product and engineering teams.
Currently hands-on with production code.
