Building on its leadership in matchmaking, the company is expanding into the $55 billion marriage services industry via WeddingBazaar and Mandap.com, with an ambition to become a billion-dollar revenue organization.About the RoleWe are looking for an experienced Brand Partnerships & Alliances professional to support the development and management of a growing brand partnership ecosystem.The role will primarily focus on building a strong pipeline of prospective brand partners through structured market research, brand identification, decision-maker mapping and outreach, while also managing the coordination, performance tracking and commercial follow-up of existing partnerships.The candidate should be capable of independently identifying relevant brands and the right stakeholders, establishing initial contact and generating qualified meetings.Key Responsibilities1. Brand Research & Partnership PipelineResearch and identify potential brand partners across consumer-facing categories such as Jewellery, Apparel, Consumer Electronics, Appliances, Travel, Beauty & Grooming, Furniture, Lifestyle and other relevant sectors.Build and maintain category-wise, city-wise and state-wise databases of prospective brands.Research brand profiles, geographical presence, store networks and partnership potential.Identify relevant decision-makers across Partnerships, Alliances, Marketing, Business Development and senior management.2. Brand Outreach & Meeting GenerationIndependently reach out to prospective partners through LinkedIn, email, calls, corporate board lines, professional networks and referrals.Establish initial conversations with relevant brand stakeholders.Generate and schedule qualified meetings with decision-makers.Undertake structured follow-ups to move conversations forward.Maintain an active and measurable partnership pipeline.3. Existing Brand & Partner ManagementCoordinate periodic performance and relationship reviews with active brand partners.Track partnership performance, customer engagement and other agreed business metrics.Coordinate collection and consolidation of relevant partner data.Maintain action items from partner reviews and follow through until closure.Identify recurring issues or dependencies and escalate them appropriately.4. Commercial & Payment CoordinationCoordinate with internal teams for partner-related delivery and performance data.Support timely raising and submission of applicable invoices.Maintain brand-wise trackers covering invoices, due dates, payments and outstanding amounts.Follow up with partners and internal Finance teams for reconciliation and closure.5. Cross-functional CoordinationWork closely with Finance, Operations, Product, Marketing and other internal stakeholders.Ensure brand information, commercials, offers, locations and operational requirements are accurately maintained.Coordinate resolution of operational and partner-related issues.Maintain organised records and documentation across partnerships.6. MIS & ReportingMaintain a comprehensive partnership dashboard covering the funnel from Target Brand → Decision-Maker → Outreach → Meeting → Partnership Status → Performance → Invoicing → Collections.Provide weekly updates on prospects, outreach, meetings and pending follow-ups.Prepare periodic performance summaries for active partnerships.Maintain clear visibility on ownership, timelines and pending actions.Candidate ProfileMinimum 5 years of relevant professional experience, preferably in Brand Partnerships, Brand Alliances, Strategic Alliances, Partnerships, Key Account Management or related functions.Strong experience in independently researching brands and identifying relevant decision-makers.Hands-on experience using LinkedIn and professional networks for corporate prospecting and stakeholder mapping.Comfortable with cold outreach, corporate calling and engaging senior stakeholders.Experience managing multiple external partners and coordinating with internal teams.Experience in Retail, Jewellery, Apparel, Consumer Electronics, FMCG, E-commerce, Travel, Lifestyle, Loyalty/Rewards or Gifting would be an advantage.Bachelor’s degree in Business, Commerce, Marketing, Management or a related discipline; MBA/PGDM preferred but not mandatory.Key SkillsStrong market research and prospecting skills, excellent communication and networking ability, relationship management, commercial understanding, structured follow-up, stakeholder management, strong execution and closure orientation, and proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets, PowerPoint and CRM/MIS tools.The ideal candidate should be resourceful and network-oriented, with the ability to independently identify opportunities, open doors with relevant stakeholders and take partnership conversations from prospecting through execution.
