Role Overview And Core Responsibilities

The Architect serves as a hands-on technical leader, working closely with engineers and fellow architects to design and implement scalable, secure, and reliable solutions. This role defines pipeline architecture, establishes technical standards, and guides adoption of CI/CD and developer enablement capabilities. It partners with Development, Release Management, and Site Reliability Engineering to deliver solutions that improve software delivery, reliability, and operational excellence.

Design and implement scalable, secure, and reliable pipeline solutionsDefine pipeline architecture and provide technical leadershipDesign, deploy, and support Kubernetes-based solutions using HelmProvide architectural guidance and technical oversight for CI/CD platformsDrive improvements in pipeline architecture, automation, and developer experienceEstablish and promote best practices for source control, branching strategies, artifact management, pipeline design, and automationOptimize artifact management and software supply chain processesEvaluate emerging technologies and recommend improvementsCreate and maintain architecture diagrams and technical documentationProvide technical mentorship and architectural leadership through design reviews, implementation guidance, and knowledge sharingTroubleshoot and resolve complex issues across CI/CD pipelines, automation processes, and supporting technologiesParticipate in Agile and SAFe ceremonies, including sprint planning, story refinement, architecture reviews, and PI Planning

Required Knowledge And Experiences

5+ years of experience in DevOps, platform engineering, Site Reliability Engineering, or a related technical fieldExperience serving as an Architect, Technical Lead, Lead Engineer, or in a similar architecture-focused roleStrong experience designing and implementing pipelines, automation solutions, and developer enablement capabilitiesHands-on experience with CI/CD platforms such as Harness, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOpsExperience with Kubernetes, containerization, and HelmStrong understanding of Git-based source control, branching strategies, and repository managementExperience with artifact management solutions, preferably ArtifactoryExperience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, OpenTofu, or AnsibleProficiency in scripting and automation using Python, Bash, or PowerShellStrong technical leadership, collaboration, and mentorship skills, with the ability to influence technical direction through expertise and partnership
