Supported by brand ambassador and investor MS Dhoni, Garuda Aerospace is on a mission to positively impact 1 billion lives and help position India as the global drone capital.Role Description The Admissions Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based in Chennai, responsible for managing the end-to-end admissions process for drone training and related educational programs. In this role, the specialist will respond to inquiries from prospective learners, provide detailed information about courses, eligibility, and career pathways, and guide applicants through application and enrollment procedures. The position involves maintaining accurate records, coordinating with training and operations teams to schedule batches, and ensuring a smooth onboarding experience for all participants. The Admissions Specialist will engage in outreach and student recruiting activities, including follow-up communications, information sessions, and collaboration with partner institutions. Daily tasks also include resolving applicant concerns, supporting payment and documentation processes, and continuously improving admissions workflows to enhance learner satisfaction.Qualifications Candidates should possess strong Communication skills to interact effectively with prospective students, internal teams, and external partners.Candidates should possess Customer Service skills to deliver responsive support, handle inquiries professionally, and ensure a positive admissions experience.Candidates should possess Sales and Student Recruiting skills to convert leads, conduct outreach, and meet enrollment targets for training programs.Candidates should possess Education-related skills, including familiarity with training programs, curricula, and certification processes in a technical or vocational context.Additional beneficial qualifications include experience in admissions or counseling, proficiency with CRM or student information systems, strong organizational and time-management abilities, and comfort working with data and basic reporting.A bachelor’s degree in any discipline is preferred, along with the ability to work on-site in Chennai and collaborate effectively within a fast-paced, technology-driven environment.
