Key Responsibilities:
Plan and execute procurement of coal as per plant requirements and inventory norms.
Coordinate with approved vendors and suppliers for timely placement and execution of purchase orders.
Monitor coal consumption, stock levels, and replenishment requirements.
Track coal dispatches, shipments, and transportation to ensure timely delivery.
Liaise with quality, stores, finance, and operations teams for smooth procurement activities.
Review supplier performance related to quality, quantity, delivery, and commercial compliance.
Analyze market trends, coal prices, and supply conditions to support procurement decisions.
Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and statutory requirements.
Maintain procurement records, contracts, vendor documentation, and reports.
Support cost optimization initiatives through effective negotiation and sourcing strategies.
