Role Description
Facilitate land acquisition, site selection, and land sourcing for expansion of existing mine and various project requirements in West Bokaro. Maintain and update land records, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and company policies. Acquire land for upcoming projects through proactive engagement with stakeholders. Conduct appropriate negotiations with villagers, government authorities, and other relevant parties to purchase land directly in the company's interest. Coordinate with the revenue department and assist senior management in functional roles related to land and lease management. This includes implementing best practices in land acquisition, resettlement, and rehabilitation, aligning with international standards and promoting sustainable community development. The role also involves monitoring and reporting on resettlement plans, ensuring transparency and addressing grievances effectively. Furthermore, the Area Manager Land & Lease West Bokaro will contribute to the development and execution of strategies that optimize land utilization, minimize environmental impact, and foster positive relationships with local communities, thereby ensuring the company's long-term operational success and social license to operate.

Develop and execute strategies to optimize land utilization, minimize environmental impact, and foster positive relationships with local communities, securing the company's social license to operate. Oversee land demarcation and possession activities, ensuring accuracy and compliance with legal and regulatory requirements. Manage legal cases related to land and lease, coordinating with advocates and legal counsel to ensure favorable outcomes and protect the company's interests. Conduct field visits to assess tenant claims and address illegal land possession issues, ensuring the integrity of land assets within and outside the lease area.
