Role Description The Store Officer role is a full-time, on-site position based in Bharuch. The Store Officer will manage day-to-day store operations, including receiving, issuing, and storing materials in line with company procedures. Responsibilities include maintaining accurate stock records, monitoring inventory levels, and coordinating with procurement and production teams for timely material availability. The role involves preparing and verifying documentation such as goods receipt notes and stock statements, as well as supporting audits and periodic stock checks. The Store Officer will also ensure proper housekeeping, adherence to safety standards, and compliance with internal control processes within the store.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Stock Control and Stock Management skills to track materials and prevent discrepancies.Candidates should possess solid Inventory Control and Inventory Management skills to maintain optimal stock levels and support smooth operations.Candidates should possess experience handling Purchase Orders and related documentation to coordinate effectively with procurement.Candidates should possess good knowledge of store processes, basic ERP or inventory software, and MS Excel.Candidates should possess attention to detail, numerical accuracy, and the ability to work systematically in an industrial environment.Candidates should possess effective communication and collaboration skills to work with production, finance, and vendor teams.Relevant experience in store or warehouse operations, preferably in manufacturing or construction materials, is beneficial.A diploma or bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain, commerce, or a related field is preferred.
