About Site:

Site Sayakha, a greenfield facility located in Sayakha, District Bharuch, Gujarat State, India, inaugurated in February 2024, is Perstorp’s latest state of the art production plant. This is the first major investment in India by Perstorp, and the site is spread out over approximately 28 acres of land. The plant produces Penta which has a vast range of application areas, being an essential building block for coatings, as well synthetic lubricants, and antioxidants.

Our new plant solidifies and strengthens our long-term position and presence in the growth region of Asia. It also reinforces our ability to meet growing demand, particularly in Asian markets.

Job Title: Shift Incharge Maintenance (Executive/Sr.Executive)

Reporting to: Lead – Mechanical Maintenance

Main Function:

The main purpose of position is to ensure smooth Plant operation and maximise Plant availability during shift. The Job Involves critical activities like Planning, coordination, resource management, Spare Part Management, safety compliances, Permit compliances during the Shift Breakdowns.

The main purpose of shift Incharge is to ensure smooth shift operation and maximise plant availability during the shift.

Based upon Shift Manager information, understanding the details of the Breakdown and preliminary assessment.

Based on breakdown, prepare scope of work and Plan for resource requirement.

Ensure execution of PM activities during shift as per work order.

Position is expected to work in a group of team members working in shift in close coordination.

Promote housekeeping culture in the plant maintenance system.

Practice 5S culture in maintenance system.

Develop high standard of safety culture in maintenance system.

Establishing skill assessment procedure, assessing crews skill level, identify skill gaps and recommend for training needs.

Required Knowledge base and experience:

A Full-Time Diploma / Graduate Engineer -Mechanical from a Reputed Institution

A Graduate Engineering candidate with 6-8 years of experience or a Diploma Engineering candidate with 10-12 years’ experience in a continuous process plant in Maintenance or Planning Department.

Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). Working knowledge of field operations. SAP PM experience preferred.

Proven experience in SAP PM Full Functional Knowledge

Effectively communicate both orally and through written text.

Ability to work under minimal supervision and effectively manage multiple/changing priorities.

Ability to read and understand technical documents including PFD's and P&ID's.

Dedicated to meeting the expectations and requirements of internal and external customers.

Keen, insight of production process and ability to pick up issues before becoming major problems.
