About Site:

Site Sayakha, a greenfield facility located in Sayakha, District Bharuch, Gujarat State, India, inaugurated in February 2024, is Perstorp’s latest state of the art production plant. This is the first major investment in India by Perstorp, and the site is spread out over approximately 28 acres of land. The plant produces Penta which has a vast range of application areas, being an essential building block for coatings, as well synthetic lubricants, and antioxidants.

Our new plant solidifies and strengthens our long-term position and presence in the growth region of Asia. It also reinforces our ability to meet growing demand, particularly in Asian markets.

Job Title: Lead Mechanical

Reporting to: Head Maintenance

Main Function:

The Job purpose of position is to ensure Reliable Plant operation during shift and improve Plant availability by minimizing breakdown hours during shift operation. The position shall also oversee availability of manpower, arranging requisite resources by coordinating with contractors during shift operation and for attending breakdowns.

To minimize the Plant Breakdown hours through effective trouble shooting techniques.

To manage shift manpower in case of absentees, followed by sickness, family commitments, leave planning.

Preparation of Monthly Shift Schedule.

To Ensure preventive maintenance activities as per work order.

Practice 5S culture in maintenance system.

Develop high standard of safety culture in maintenance system.

Providing requirement of Different skill of manpower.

Prepare a skill requirement based upon job activities.

Develop repair plan for breakdown equipment bought into the workshop.

Prepare SOPs, Work Instruction, and Method statement for maintenance task.

Required Knowledge base and experience:

A Full-Time Graduate Mechanical Engineer from a Reputed Institution

More than 12 to 15 years of experience in continuous process plant in Maintenance Department.

Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). Working knowledge of field operations. SAP PM experience preferred.

Proven experience in SAP PM Full Functional Knowledge

A Full-Time Graduate Mechanical Engineer from a Reputed Institution

Problem-solving skills and ability to implement process improvement concepts.

Effectively communicate both orally and through written text in English Language.

Ability to read and understand technical documents including PFD's and P&ID's.

Showing commitment cto meet set expectations and requirements of internal and external customers.

Keen to accept challenges and showing willingness to grow through hard work, teamwork and having hunger to learn.
