Requirements:

5-8+ years of software or application engineering experience, with significant time spent on platform or enterprise systems.

4+ years of hands-on Workday development across integrations (Studio, EIB, Core Connectors), Extend, Orchestration, and RaaS/WQL.

3+ years writing production code in JavaScript, Java, Python, or Go, with strong SQL or equivalent querying experience.

Highly skilled in building with REST/SOAP and GraphQL, and in data transformation patterns (XML, XSLT, JSON).

Demonstrated ownership of integration architecture, including event-driven patterns, API gateway patterns, and fault-tolerant design.

Deep understanding of the Workday data model and security fundamentals (domains, segments, business processes).

Uses AI-assisted development as a standard part of the daily workflow and sets the bar for the team.

Bachelor's degree from a recognised university in Engineering, Computer Science, IT, or a related field (B. E. /B. Tech/MCA), or equivalent practical experience.

Experience designing MCP servers or API-layer connectors for AI tooling.

Experience with an iPaaS platform such as MuleSoft or Workato.

Workday Integration or Extend certification.
