We are looking for Train Architect - Mechanical

You’ll make a difference by

Product Structure: Responsible for creating & managing the Train level Product structure & Variant management for the Platform.Train & Equipment Layouts: Develop and govern the overall vehicle layout, including the strategic placement of equipment (roof, underframe, and interior) to optimize space utilization, maintenance accessSystem Integration & Interface Management: Orchestrate the mechanical integration of all sub-systems (Propulsion, Braking, Interiors, etc.) on Carbody & Bogie and manage Interface Control Documents (ICDs).Weight & Space Management: Manage the vehicle's weight distribution and space envelopes (Gauging) to ensure the train stays within infrastructure limits.Decals, Signage & Livery Integration: Lead the mechanical definition and placement of all internal/external decals, safety signage, and livery. Ensure compliance with accessibility standards (TSI PRM) and safety regulations while maintaining aesthetic durability.Product-related Environmental Protection (PrEP): Material compliance via REACH & RoHS, and hazardous substance prohibitions Recyclability & Life cycle assessment (LCA).Bid Support: Prepare technical documentation for new tenders, including concept drawings, weight estimates, and compliance matrices.Milestone Delivery: Ensure the successful and on-time delivery of technical design gates, specifically PDR (Preliminary Design Review) and CDR (Critical Design Review).Matrix Collaboration: Navigate and work effectively within a Matrix Organization, coordinating between functional departments and project management.Need to travel International & / or domestically based on Project requirement.

Desired Skills

Experience: Relevant experience of 5+ years.Education: Bachelor’s or master’s degree in mechanical engineering, Industrial or Production Engineering.Technical Expertise:Sound knowledge of PTC CREO 9.0 & Auto cad..PDM Windchill or similar Product Lifecycle Management software (PLM)Handling of SAP for creation.Handing of requirement management through excel, DOORS, Polarian.Standards Knowledge: Familiarity with rail-specific standards such as TSI (Technical Specifications for Interoperability) and DIN/EN standards.Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities, excellent communication for stakeholder management.
