Test Analyst - Associate 2

Role Purpose

The Test Analyst supports quality assurance and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for Transfer Agency applications. The role is accountable for planning, preparing, executing and evidencing testing for application changes, helping ensure that releases meet agreed requirements, quality standards and delivery timelines.

Working from India, the role partners with Transfer Agency business, product, change, technology, project and vendor teams. The position requires clear communication across locations and time zones, disciplined documentation, and an understanding of the operational risk associated with changes to established Transfer Agency platforms.

Key Responsibilities

Develop fit-for-purpose test strategies, test plans, test scenarios, test cases and reusable test scripts for assigned initiatives. Maintain end-to-end traceability from business and functional requirements to test coverage, execution evidence, defects and final outcomes. Execute functional, system, integration, regression and UAT activities in line with agreed internal standards and project plans. Validate application changes across relevant Transfer Agency workflows and interfaces, with appropriate consideration of upstream and downstream impacts. Identify, document, classify, prioritize and track defects; support triage and retesting through closure. Produce complete, accurate and auditable test records, including test results, supporting evidence, defect logs and sign-off materials. Assess regression risk and design proportionate regression coverage to protect established production services while meeting delivery deadlines. Provide clear and timely test status, risks, issues, dependencies and quality metrics to test leads, project managers, product owners, business stakeholders and external vendors. Review project deliverables for completeness, quality, testability and alignment with established standards. Coordinate effectively with stakeholders and participate in meetings aligned to business delivery needs. Adapt to changing priorities and manage testing commitments across multiple concurrent initiatives. Contribute to continuous improvement of testing methods, reusable test assets, reporting and quality controls.

Required Qualifications And Experience

At least 2 year of relevant software testing, business testing or UAT experience in a comparable role. Hands-on experience creating test plans, test scenarios, test cases, test scripts and test execution evidence. Experience with defect identification, documentation, classification, prioritization, retesting and closure. Demonstrated ability to produce high-quality, auditable deliverables and maintain requirements-to-test traceability. Ability to review requirements and project outputs for completeness, quality, consistency and testability. Ability to work across multiple complex projects with minimal guidance and manage competing priorities. Strong written and verbal communication skills in English. Bachelor's degree or equivalent higher education; Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Finance or a related discipline is preferred.

Preferred Experience

Experience testing applications in financial services, asset servicing, banking, investment management or capital markets. Knowledge of Transfer Agency processes, including investor servicing, transaction processing, cash activity, settlement, reporting or operational support. Experience working with geographically distributed teams and stakeholders. Exposure to test management, defect management, requirements management or collaboration tools. Understanding of controlled release processes, production risk, audit evidence and regulated operating environments.
