Job Description

As a Technical Product Owner II here at Honeywell, you will lead and mentor a team of Technical Product Owners, providing strategic guidance and overseeing the entire product development lifecycle. Collaboration with cross-functional teams, including product managers and engineers, will be a key aspect of your role, ensuring a cohesive approach to product development. Your strategic influence will extend to driving innovation within the product management function, identifying opportunities for technological advancements, and actively participating in strategic decision-making to shape the overall direction of the Technical Product Owner team.

Collaborate with stakeholders to define and prioritize technical requirementsDrive the development of technical specifications and ensure alignment with overall product strategyProvide technical guidance to the development team throughout the product lifecycleWork closely with the Technical Product Owner Manager to ensure timely and successful product deliveryActively participate in product planning and roadmap discussions

Qualifications

YOU MUST HAVE

2+ years of experience in a Technical Product Owner management role or similar technical leadership positionMastery understanding of software development methodologies and processesExperience working in agile development environments and familiarity with agile principlesProven track record of successfully managing technical teams

Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, or another related field.Certifications in product management or agile methodologies (e.g., Certified Scrum Product Owner).Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholdersAbility to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environmentAttention to detail and excellent problem-solving capability
