Meet the Team

Join Cisco’s wireless Technical Marketing Engineering (TME) team and play a critical role in the rapid growth and expansion of our wireless networking business. We are the industry leader in wireless, heavily focused on leveraging agentic AI for customer issues and field enablement. You will work with wireless specialists within the wireless TME team, setting up equipment to support enablement labs, test environments, and work with our product managers, marketing teams, and our field sales organizations to grow the wireless business, support new applications and customer environments, with opportunities to grow within the wireless team in to specialty areas emerging as the latest in AI-centric features evolve.

Your Impact

As a wireless Technical Marketing Engineer, you will be a subject matter expert in multiple wireless technologies (cloud and on-prem), diving deep into the product and architectural vision. You will work with product management, engineering, and marketing teams to build large-scale architectural solutions and develop strategies to enable Cisco’s field sales and partners.

Promote product value by crafting compelling technical stories and detailing how things work.Setting up lab systems to support enablement, training, and educational activities that will evolve over timeSupporting large test environments and operations as part of the overall product development with product managers and engineeringGuide the creation of field and customer-facing technical collateral, including technical white papers, architectural guides, deployment guides, and methodology documents.Train and collaborate with sales teams on technical products, helping them grow accounts and sell access points (APs).

Minimum Qualifications

Have 5+ years of experience in Wi-Fi testing or operations within enterprise wireless and networking solutionsStrong foundation in the fundamentals of computer networking (VLANs, DHCP, TCP, UDP, VoIP)Strong foundation of 802.11 wireless standards, channels, and specs on 2.4GHz, 5GHz and 6GHzGood understanding of customer deployments and applying those learnings to in-house testing and validations, collateral creation, etcPractical communication skills and proven track record of collaboration with stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

BS/MS in Computer Networking, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent experienceExperience in product performance testing or QAExperience in configuring enterprise wireless access points (HPE, Juniper, Arista, etc)Experience with AI-based tools for workflow optimizationsExperience in working with Jenkins and JiraProficiency in writing quality code with one of the programming or scripting languages such as Ruby, Python, etc
