Role Summary Provides technical expertise through customer presentations, product demonstrations, and installation of company products and solutions. Assists the sales staff in assessing potential application of company products to meet customer needs and preparing detailed product specifications for the development and implementation of customer applications/solutions. May build POCs based on customer requirements to demonstrate feasibility of the application/solution, often requiring rapid prototyping and/or product demo for client. May provide software development and consultation to customers and/or product capability assessment and validation. Ensures that the product application/solution is functioning according to specifications. May provide follow-up support to Sales, Ops, and customer personnel by disseminating technical information on specific applications/solutions

Key ResponsibilitiesSystem design & specification: Define and specify advanced 4G/5G/NTN RAN feature behavior and baseband requirements aligned with 3GPP TS 36 and 38-series.Requirements analysis & architecture: Translate system requirements into scalable RAN architectures covering DU/CU splits and interfaces.Performance monitoring & optimization: Monitor RAN KPIs, perform capacity planning, and optimize parameters to maximize throughput and reliability.Troubleshooting & root-cause analysis: Diagnose service and system failures, identify root causes, and implement corrective configuration or procedural fixes.Cross-functional collaboration: Coordinate with product, engineering, operations, and field teams to deliver RAN features and resolve escalations.Testing, validation & trials: Develop test cases, validate new RAN features in lab environments, and support field trials for software/hardware releases.Documentation & standards: Produce clear design docs, operational guides, and maintenance reports compliant with internal and 3GPP standards.

Job RequirementsB.E./M.Tech/Ph.D. in ECE/CS with 5+ years in 3GPP L1/L2 stack development for 5G NR and NB‑IoT, including NTN extensions (Rel‑17/18/19).Expertise in PHY/MAC/RLC/PDCP for NR and NB‑IoT (TS 38.2xx/38.3xx, 36.2xx/36.3xx) with NTN features such as large RTT, Doppler compensation, and extended HARQ timelines.Strong understanding of RU–L1, L1–L2, and L2–L3 interfaces and 3GPP/O‑RAN functional splits (e.g., 7.2x, F1/E1).Hands‑on development of real‑time baseband/embedded stacks for NR and NB‑IoT NTN waveforms, optimized for low latency, multithreading, and memory efficiency.Proven experience in RAN system design, integration, testing, performance tuning, and debugging of baseband software for gNB/eNB platforms.Strong inclination to leverage AI tools (code assistants, log analysers) to accelerate day‑to‑day RAN development and debugging.
