Responsibilities

Primary Responsibilities

Lead the design, development and delivery of enterprise-grade applications, APIs and user interfaces.

Provide technical leadership and mentoring to the development team and ensure adherence to engineering standards.

Collaborate with Product Owners, Business Analysts and stakeholders to translate requirements into effective technical solutions.

Own technical design, design/code reviews, quality, performance and security of solutions.

Drive end-to-end delivery across development, testing, CI/CD and production support .

Manage technical risks, dependencies and complex production issues, including root-cause analysis.

Promote Clean Code, TDD/BDD, automation and continuous improvement .

Drive adoption of AI-assisted development practices to improve coding, testing, documentation, troubleshooting and developer productivity.

Ensure responsible and secure use of AI tools , including appropriate validation of AI-generated outputs.

Must-Have Skills

8–12 years of software development experience , including experience leading and mentoring developers.

Strong hands-on expertise in Java 8+/Java 17, Spring Boot, Microservices and REST APIs .

Strong experience with ReactJS, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML5 and CSS .

Good understanding of solution design, design patterns, application architecture and performance optimization .

Experience with PostgreSQL or similar relational databases.

Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Git/GitHub, Maven, Jenkins and CI/CD .

Hands-on experience with AI-assisted development tools and ability to drive their effective adoption within the team.

Strong knowledge of Agile, TDD, BDD, Clean Code, code reviews and Continuous Delivery .

Strong problem-solving, technical decision-making and troubleshooting skills .

Excellent communication, stakeholder management and team leadership skills .

Ability to take end-to-end ownership of technical delivery while remaining hands-on.
