Introduction
Join our Scientific Production team as a Team Lead Scientific Production - Advanced Cell Models and play a key role in coordinating scientific production activities that support the development and execution of advanced cell model production processes for better health for more people. Based in Bangalore, India, you will lead daily production execution, ensure compliance with GMP, EHS and quality requirements, and support the development of a high-performing production team. Grow With Us – Your Responsibilities
Coordinate daily production activities and allocate tasks based on approved production plans to support efficient production executionPrioritize and sequence work to ensure the timely achievement of production objectivesMonitor production progress and maintain workflow continuity across the production areaSupervise production personnel to ensure compliance with SOPs, GMP requirements, EHS guidelines and quality standardsProvide guidance and support to team members during routine production activities and ensure adherence to established processes and documentation requirementsTrain, onboard and qualify new team members by demonstrating production procedures and verifying readiness for independent task execution while reinforcing best practices and standardized work methodsIdentify and address day-to-day production challenges and operational bottlenecks, coordinate with cross-functional stakeholders to resolve routine production issues, and support continuous improvement initiatives that enhance productivity, consistency and quality
What Will Convince Us
Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Life Sciences, Chemical Engineering or a related scientific disciplineMinimum 5 years of hands-on experience in scientific production, bioprocessing, cell culture, or a regulated laboratory or manufacturing environmentExperience working within GMP, EHS and quality-controlled environmentsPrevious experience leading or coordinating a small team is preferredStrong understanding of GMP, quality systems and EHS complianceAbility to coordinate and prioritize daily production activitiesExperience training, mentoring and supervising production personnelStrong problem-solving and operational troubleshooting skillsExcellent communication and collaboration capabilitiesFluent in English
