Job Purpose and Impact

The Supply and Inventory Planner will contribute to coordinating long term supply chain strategies across networks to address capacity issues and production location decisions in support of business goals. In this role, you will monitor key integrated business planning performance indicators, cost to serve performance data and help coordinate cross functional work teams to meet high customer service standards.

Key Accountabilities

Supply Planning:

Maintain data relevant to network distribution planning activities including capacity, constraint, logistics, supplier, master and location data.

Generate and execute cycle and safety stock plans for the assigned product or location, using the approved supply plan inputs.

Develop gap coverage plans during inventory shortages.

Create requirements plan and long term supply plan for assigned products and locations as input for the integrated business planning cycle.

Independently solve moderately complex issues with minimal supervision, while escalating more complex issues to appropriate staff.

Other duties as assigned

SCP Super User:

Supports system deployments, interface changes and retrofits, and brings forward and advocates for design change requests and contributes to thought leadership on new capabilities on behalf of the region/country to improve the global design

Responsible for acquiring “Train The Trainer” knowledge of global design and processes via system deployment, review of design documents, and cross-training with previous/other Super Users and DT&D support team

Develops and maintains training program with regional/local supply chain planning process execution owners for SAP IBP end users within the region while leveraging global process guidelines, training, and community of practice

Serves as the first line of support for end users to help with advanced trouble shooting, system stability, and continuous improvement opportunities.

Acts as liaison between business users, DT&D support teams (AMS & Application Development), other regional super users, and global domain lead

Leads or facilitates system changes for the business including the confirmation of solution design, performs user acceptance testing and signoff, facilitates end user training and change management, and final production validation and signoff

Has acquired advanced technical skills like building system queries and logic for performing mass data analytics and validations

Help facilitate regional user adoption assessments, evaluation of user metrics, master data and process health metrics and development of prioritized action plans to advance system adoption and capability maturity

Qualifications

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Engineering degree in a related field with minimum 8 years of supply planning experience

Previous experience in supply chain planning with SAP IBP, ePPDS and S4 Hana MRP applications

Experience participating on cross functional process implementations or improvement projects

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Continuous improvements Mindset

Previous participation in technology solution implementations

Functional understanding of supply chain or order management tools and technologies

Broad end to end understanding of supply chain planning principles with focus in supply, demand or inventory planning, integrated business planning.
