What You'll Do

Role Overview:

We are looking for a Software Engineer with 11–14 years of experience to contribute to the development of features for a SaaS product hosted on AWS—Cove Data Protection, the flagship offering from N-able in the cybersecurity domain. You will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining software applications using C# and the .NET Core framework. This role offers the opportunity to work on innovative solutions in a collaborative and fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

Develop, maintain, and enhance applications using C#, .NET Core and related technologiesCollaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, QA, and DevOps to define and deliver high-quality software solutionsParticipate in all phases of the software development lifecycle, including design, implementation, testing, deployment, and maintenanceWork with the Architects to designing the servicesWrite clean, efficient, and well-documented code following industry best practicesTroubleshoot, debug, and resolve application issues and performance bottlenecksConduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team membersParticipate in monthly release responsibilitiesMentor junior developers and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement

What You'll Bring

Must-Have Skills:

10–14 years of professional experience in software development using C# and .NET Core (versions 6-8)Strong understanding of object-oriented programming, design patterns, and software development principlesGood understanding of middleware used in .NET core.Experience with web technologies such as ASP.NET MVC, Web API, or BlazorProficiency in working with SQL Server or other relational databasesGood understanding with microservices architecture.Familiarity with front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is a plusExperience with version control systems like GitHands on Experience with cloud-based applications (Azure or AWS)Hands on Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)Solid understanding of unit testing and test-driven developmentExcellent problem-solving skills and attention to detailStrong communication and collaboration abilities
