Responsibilities:
Be part of a team of phenomenal engineers building a next-gen database platform using the latest open-source technologies.
Design and implement differentiated production-ready features in a fast-paced environment with a focus on scalability, performance, geo-distribution, and availability.

Requirements:
More than 5 years of experience developing/testing/deploying secure, production-quality software products.
Expert-level programming in C++ is required with a demonstrated ability to solve complex problems.
Prior experience building distributed systems at internet scale.
Deep expertise in PostgreSQL internals: storage/buffer manager, WAL, MVCC, lock manager, query planner/executor. Alternatively, deep expertise in streaming processing (Flink, Kafka, and Message product) is also OK.
Strong transaction management background: isolation levels, concurrency control, deadlock detection, crash recovery, physical/logical replication, and HA/failover strategies.
Experience in performance engineering: profiling (perf, gdb, flamegraphs), benchmarking (pgbench), autovacuum tuning, index/statistics optimisation, and I/O/memory optimisation for large-scale workloads is preferred.
Technical leadership experience in guiding teams and making architectural decisions.
A bachelor's in computer science or equivalent is required.
Demonstrated experience in leading critical projects to production.
Mandate skills: O/I and memory management.
