As a Staff Software Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in designing and developing Guidewire’s multi-tenant cloud platform. You’ll tackle complex engineering challenges, contribute to the evolution of our cloud infrastructure, and help shape the future of insurance technology. Job Description

What you’ll do

Develop Multi-Tenant Cloud Platform that caters to running all Guidewire applications and services (Refer: https://medium.com/guidewire-engineering-blog/guidewire-cloud-why-hybrid-tenancy-is-the-right-choice-56a0ff176032, https://medium.com/guidewire-engineering-blog/guidewire-cloud-why-hybrid-tenancy-is-the-right-choice-part-2-of-2-ba22c9888bb8Deeply involved in design and development of GWCP/ATMOS - infrastructure as code using technologies such as EKS (Kubernetes), Terraform, Golang. In addition handle Observability of the Platform (logs, metrics and traces). What you’ll bring

Required

Demonstrated ability to embrace AI and apply it to your current role as well as data-driven insights to drive innovation, productivity, and continuous improvement.10+ years of experience in SaaS/PaaS environments for large-scale enterprise applications.Strong programming skills in Java, Golang, Python, or equivalent.Experience with container technologies (Docker or equivalent) in a cloud ecosystemExpertise in cloud platforms (Kubernetes, AWS, GCP, Azure, Serverless) and infrastructure as code (Terraform, Ansible).Proficiency with Linux and the Java/Spring Boot ecosystem.Team-first attitude, strong problem-solving skills, and a passion for learning new technologies.Comfort working in an agile, fast-paced, and collaborative environment.

Preferred

Experience with observability tools and log management in distributed systems.Familiarity with security best practices in cloud environments.
