Meet The Team

Dexcom is hiring for a Senior iOS Software Engineer to join our team in San Diego, CA. In this position, you will be designing, developing and maintaining iOS Apps and/or SDKs for an industry leading CGM device, to help improve the lives of people with diabetes. You will be joining a well-established team & company, on an upward growth trajectory.

You will design and build applications for the iOS platformYou’ll implement requirements on iOS apps, write and update design documentsWe’ll rely on you to continuously discover, evaluate and implement new technologies to strengthen development efficiencyYou’ll interface with software test to ensure high-quality productYou will develop automated unit and integration testsYou’ll participate in design, code and test reviews, provide technical leadershipYou will propose and implement enhancements to the apps to improve sustainability

What Makes You Successful

Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field.You have a minimum 2 years of native iOS app development experience using Swift and 5 years of professional software development experienceYou bring a high degree of diligence in documentation, testing and codingYou have experience working in Agile teams & using tools such as Jira and ConfluenceYou have experience using CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Fastlane, Github Actions, SonarQubeYou have experience with version control tools such as Git, Github, Gitlab, Bitbucket and GitFlowYou have experience writing automated tests using XCTest, XCUITest, Swift TestingYou have working knowledge of design patterns such as MVC, MVVM, MVPYou have experience in developing SDK layerYou have experience in working on iOS operating system with knowledge of dealing with multi-threaded environments
