Your Impact

OpenText is the market leader in Enterprise Information Management platforms and applications. Asa Software Engineer you will utilize your knowledge and experience to perform design, systems analysis, research, maintenance, troubleshooting and other programming activities. You become a member of one of our Agile based development teams, focusing on application development.

What The Role Offers

Analyze requirements for completeness, diligence to identify risks and mitigate potential user-impacting concerns.Drive requirements through to an implementation, complete with sizing estimates and task breakdowns. Produce high quality code according to design specifications.Work as part of an Agile team throughout the software development life cycle.Work in collaboration with teams across geographies.Utilize superior analytical skills to troubleshoot and fix complex code defects & customer challenges.Participate in software design/code reviews to ensure quality and adherence to company standardsYou understand and can navigate complex issues around application performance, reliability, scalability and security.

What You Need To Succeed

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline from reputed institute.Quick learner with strong technical and analytical (problem solving) skills.5 to 8 years of software development experience in C / C++Good knowledge on Java, Unix, Databases and RDBMS ConceptsGood knowledge on Database migration and performance optimizationStrong knowledge of Data Structures, Object-oriented programmingStrong in debugging, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.Good knowledge in container technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.Hands on experience on working with different cloud platforms.Demonstrate strong written and oral communication skills.Knowledge of Agile Development Process, CI/CDPositive attitude and a team playerEnthusiastic mindset towards the domain and technology and willingness to learn and improve.Ability to work independently and driving work assignments to closure.
