SR PROJECT MANAGER 10537 - Technical Program Manager - PMP

The Role

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Experience: 5-8 Years

•    5+ years of experience in Technical Program Management, Project Management, or Engineering Program Management in technology organizations

•    Demonstrated experience managing complex hardware NPI programs (design through manufacturing, QA, GA)

•    Demonstrated experience managing concurrent software releases across multiple platforms with independent release cadences

•    Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (development, integration, QA, defect management, release readiness, GA)

•    Strong understanding of hardware NPI lifecycle (design, manufacturing, BOM, image readiness, production ramp, GA)

•    Experience coordinating programs involving Hardware Engineering, Firmware Development, Software teams (cloud, security, controller), QA, Product Management, Manufacturing, Compliance, and other cross-functional organizations

•    Strong experience managing milestones, dependencies, risks, and critical-path activities across multiple concurrent programs

•    Demonstrated ability to drive teams toward committed dates without direct management authority

•    Experience leading release-readiness meetings, program reviews, defect reviews, and cross-functional working sessions

•    Executive communication experience – ability to present program status, risks, and recommendations to VP/SVP-level leadership

•    Program governance experience – ability to establish program decision-making structures and executive steering committees

•    Strong Jira experience including epics, features, defects, dashboards, queries, and program tracking

•    Strong written and verbal communication skills with ability to communicate effectively with technical teams and senior leadership

•    Demonstrated ability to recognize when a program is at risk, determine underlying cause, establish action plan, and escalate appropriately

•    Risk management experience – ability to identify, assess, prioritize, and track mitigation of program risks

•    Ability to operate effectively in fast-moving environment with multiple simultaneous releases and changing priorities

•    Experience managing programs with resource support across multiple time zones

•    Ability to use various AI tools to generate reports, analyze program data, monitor program metrics, and identify trends

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

•    Experience in networking, enterprise infrastructure, cloud-managed platforms, or telecommunications

•    Experience managing programs that combine hardware, firmware/software, cloud services, and management/control applications

•    Experience with hardware NPI including manufacturing readiness, BOM management, software-image readiness, and ODM/OEM partner coordination

•    Familiarity with international product compliance processes (FCC, CE, country-specific certifications)

•    Familiarity with government or regulated-industry customer procurement processes and approval workflows

•    Experience managing cloud platform deployments, controller-based software releases, and private infrastructure configurations

•    Experience managing programs with international customer bases and multi-time zone coordination

•    Proficiency with AI-driven program management and analytics tools for reporting and monitoring

•    PMP, PgMP, Agile/Scrum, or comparable project/program management certification.
