About The Role

As a Senior Fullstack Developer within Epiroc's Research and Development department, you will play a pivotal role in designing and implementing cutting-edge software solutions that support connected and sustainable mining operations. This role provides a unique opportunity to collaborate across global teams while driving the architecture and development of next-generation offboard automation platforms. Key Responsibilities

Develop, maintain, and enhance high-performance desktop applications using WPF, C#, .NET Core, and React 18 within an MVVM architectural pattern.Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams including product management, quality assurance, and other developers to design, implement, and release new features that meet customer expectations.Lead full stack development activities encompassing UI design, client/server communication, and server-side business logic using RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.Integrate and manage data exchange through REST APIs, microservices, third-party libraries, and multiple database technologies such as SQL Server, Entity Framework, and NoSQL solutions.Write comprehensive automated integration and unit tests using established frameworks like XUnit, NUnit, or MSTest, ensuring code quality and reliability.Utilize AI coding assistants such as Claude Code and GitHub Copilot to increase efficiency and accelerate development processes, including automation test creation and agentic workflow management.Apply deep expertise in multi-threading, async/await patterns, and performance tuning for WPF applications to deliver smooth and responsive user experiences.Design and implement robust distributed systems, leveraging strong networking knowledge including TCP/IP and UDP protocols to ensure scalability, secure communication, and system reliability.Embrace and promote security best practices across application development to ensure compliance and protect sensitive data.Lead Agile/Scrum teams as a technical lead or Scrum Master, fostering a process-oriented culture focused on continuous delivery and improvement.Mentor junior developers, encouraging knowledge sharing, professional growth, and adherence to technical standards within the team.Contribute to forward-looking architectural roadmaps, driving innovation aligned with company goals for sustainability, reliability, and time-to-market.

Required Competencies, Skills, And Experience

Strong proficiency in C#, .NET Core/.NET Framework, and front-end technologies including Typescript and React 18.Extensive experience with WPF development including XAML, UI controls, data binding, animations, and MVVM architecture.Advanced understanding of asynchronous programming, multi-threading, and application performance optimization.Expertise in designing and consuming RESTful APIs, understanding microservices patterns, and integrating third-party APIs.Familiarity with AI coding assistants and their application within software development lifecycles, including context engineering and agent skills.Solid database management skills with SQL Server, Entity Framework, and knowledge of NoSQL databases.Demonstrated experience with unit testing frameworks (XUnit, NUnit, MSTest) and automated testing approaches.Hands-on knowledge of networking concepts and protocols such as TCP/IP and UDP critical for distributed systems.Proficiency with development tools including Git for version control and CI/CD technologies such as Azure DevOps or Jenkins.Track record of working in Agile/Scrum environments, including experience as team lead or Scrum Master is highly desirable.Exceptional problem-solving capabilities alongside excellent communication and collaborative skills.
