Requirements:
8+ years of full-time software engineering experience.
Minimum 2+ years of people management experience in a startup or fast-paced product environment.
Demonstrated experience leading engineering teams from concept (01) through scale.
Technical Skills:
Strong backend development expertise in Java (Core Java), Spring Boot, Spring MVC, and microservices architecture.
Deep understanding of system design, distributed systems, and scalable and resilient architectures.
Experience building and operating high-scale, production-grade systems.
Cloud and DevOps:
Hands-on experience with at least one cloud platform: AWS, GCP, or Azure.
Experience with Docker, Kubernetes (preferred), CI/CD pipelines, Git, and version control best practices.
Leadership and Delivery:
Proven track record of: Managing and mentoring engineering teams, Driving technical decisions and architecture reviews, Collaborating with product, design, and business stakeholders, Delivering products in Agile environments.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
Generative AI (Mandatory):
Practical experience designing, building, or integrating generative AI solutions.
Hands-on experience with large language models (LLMs), prompt engineering, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), AI agents / agentic workflows, and vector databases.
LLM APIs and frameworks such as LangChain and LlamaIndex.
Understanding of GenAI deployment, monitoring, evaluation, and scalability considerations in production environments.
Ideal Candidate:
An engineering leader with 8+ years of backend engineering experience and 2+ years of people management, strong expertise in Java/Spring-based distributed systems, cloud-native architectures, and proven experience delivering scalable products.
The candidate should have hands-on experience with generative AI technologies, including LLMs, RAG systems, and AI agents, and be capable of leading teams building AI-enabled products at scale.
