About the RoleThe role will be based in Bangalore, India and report to the VP, Home Sourcing. It is a strategic leadership position responsible for building and scaling enterprise-wide sourcing capabilities across supplier development, manufacturing excellence, and supply assurance.The Senior Director will play a critical role in advancing our integrated work across supplier development, manufacturing excellence, supply assurance, and broader ecosystem enablement, while partnering closely with Packaging to ensure strong end-to-end alignment across our sourcing ecosystem.The leader will work closely with internal stakeholders, global merchants, suppliers, and external partners to drive transformation, enable new capabilities, and integrate sourcing strategies with broader business priorities.About the TeamThe Sourcing team partners cross-functionally with Global Merchants, Product Developers, Compliance, and an expansive network of global manufacturing networks. The team focuses on scaling end-to-end supply chain strategies, establishing robust quality governance frameworks, and driving operational efficiency across the General Merchandising portfolio. By prioritizing trusted supplier relationships, advanced data analytics, and an "Every Day Low-Cost" mindset, the team builds a highly resilient, agile manufacturing ecosystem that champions private brand safety, innovation, and exceptional value for millions of customers.What you’ll doSupplier DevelopmentLead end-to-end supplier lifecycle management, including identification, onboarding, capability assessment, and scaling across global sourcing markets.Drive structured supplier capability-building programs, including onboarding frameworks, performance improvement plans, and scalability interventions.Partner with suppliers and cross-functional teams to enhance technical execution, workforce capability, and overall operational performance.Oversee supplier assessments, factory audits, and capability enhancement initiatives to ensure compliance, readiness, and sustainable growth.Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME) & Ecosystem DevelopmentChampion MSME development through targeted capability-building and export readiness programs.Establish and strengthen strategic partnerships with government bodies, including state-level collaborations and formal MOUs.Expand and strengthen the supplier ecosystem through third-party partnerships and ecosystem development initiatives.Enable inclusive sourcing by integrating small and emerging suppliers into global supply chains at scale.Surety of SupplyDrive sourcing resilience through supplier diversification, dual sourcing strategies, and upstream capability development.Design and implement risk mitigation frameworks to ensure continuity, stability, and responsiveness of supply.Embed supply assurance initiatives into core sourcing strategies and broader business priorities.Proactively monitor supply risks and lead timely interventions to ensure uninterrupted product availability.Manufacturing ExcellenceLead manufacturing transformation through the implementation of Lean practices, automation, and smart factory technologies.Define and institutionalize factory KPI frameworks, governance models, and standard operating procedures to enhance efficiency, quality, and execution.Build supplier and factory capabilities through coaching on continuous improvement methodologies and operational best practices.Drive productivity, process optimization, and cost efficiency initiatives across manufacturing operations.People LeadershipLead, coach, and develop a high-performing sourcing organization across India.Foster an inclusive, collaborative, and performance-driven culture.Build organizational capability and succession planning to support future growth.What you’ll bringStrong leadership experience in global sourcing, supplier development, and manufacturing ecosystems, with a focus on capability building and operational excellence.Deep expertise in supplier lifecycle management and scaling across diverse sourcing markets.Solid understanding of supply assurance, including risk mitigation, diversification, and building resilient supply chains.Experience driving MSME and supplier ecosystem development through strategic partnerships.Proven track record in manufacturing transformation using Lean, automation, and continuous improvement.Data-driven leader with strong stakeholder management and the ability to influence across global teams and partners.Accomplished people leader skilled in building high-performing teams and leading transformation in complex environments.Minimum QualificationsBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, or a related field.15+ years of experience in sourcing, supplier development, manufacturing, or supply chain.5+ years of experience leading global or multi-region teams.Preferred QualificationsMBA or equivalent advanced degree.Experience across global sourcing markets, including but not limited to South Asia, SEA, and the Americas.Expertise in MSME ecosystem development programs.Strong background in Lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or operational excellence.
