Job Description Summary

As a full stack developer in Imaging Platform team, you’ll be responsible for designing, building, delivering and maintaining next generation platform solutions for GE Healthcare Products. This platform includes Kubernetes as microservice orchestrator with different platform services for authentication and authorization, messaging, database, caching, DICOM, Camera, etc. Requires 8-11 years of hands-on development experience in microservice development using GO or Java, Angular, containerization using Kubernetes / Docker on Linux Env, deployment and packaging using helm, Python and Ansible. Experience of leading technical discussions, propose design solutions, technically mentoring team members, manage external stakeholders and bringing innovation at work.

Collaborate with software developers and imaging teams to implement solutions that are aligned with and extend shared platforms and solutionsWork with Product Line Leaders (PLLs) to understand product requirements & visionTranslate requirements / vision into prioritized list of user stories and deliver to required timelines and quality standardsWork with product line leaders and architects to develop multi generation software technology plansDrive increased efficiency across the teams, eliminating duplication, leveraging product and technology reuseSupport process improvements which guide the development, sustaining & support activitiesWork cross functionally with other business departments to align activities and deliverablesDrive world-class quality in the development and support of productsEnsure team receives consistent messages and has clear understanding of business direction, strategy and resultsEngage subject matter experts in successful transfer of complex domain Apply Agile principles of SDLC and methodologies, Software and Product Security, Scalability, Documentation Practices, refactoring, and Testing TechniquesProvide technical leadership to an agile team of 5-7Writes codes that meets standards and delivers desired functionality using the technology selected for the projectBuild Healthcare Imaging platform capabilities and healthcare solution for Infra & PaaS Layers using Dockers, and ContainerizationActively participate in grooming , PI planning, sprint reviews and demosDocument component design, come up with design recommendations and drive internal technical design reviewsPerform Technical feasibility assessment and share outcomes that help conclude technology decisionsUnderstand performance parameters, assess application performance and address security issuesEnsure unit test automation using BDD and consistent code quality by adhering to SONAR quality gatesActivity manage formal verification and release activitiesCoordinate with internal team members and other imaging teams for platform integration and defect fixes

Qualifications And Experience

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or in “STEM” Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) Master’s Degree in Computer Science/Math or related fieldA minimum of 7 to 11 years of professional experience (include technical skill)

Primary Skills

Extensive experience in Web Design pattern, Micro frontend development pattern and solutioningExtensive development experience in Web UI Technologies - HTML5, JavaScript, CSS3, XML, JSON, HTTP/HTTPS protocols, Node JS, React and Responsive Web DesignExtensive experience in developing UI framework, common components & applicationsRest based Microservices using GO and Java Spring bootHands-on experience on browser based debuggingExtensive exposure to automated UI testing frameworks like Jasmine/Karma, Mocha BDD based automated unit testing using CucumberSecurity domain – IDM, OpenID and Outh2.0Security CertificationsGood communication and presentation skills
