Job Description

As a Sr Community Relations Specialist here at Honeywell, you will be a key leader responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships between your organization and the communities it serves. You will work closely with a diverse range of stakeholders, including residents, businesses, government agencies, and community organizations. Your partnership-building skills will expand our social impact and contribute to a stronger, more connected community. You will maintain a positive image for our organization, expertly resolve conflicts, and champion the interests of both the community and the organization. Your ability to plan and execute community events will strengthen community bonds, fostering a sense of unity and collaboration.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement comprehensive community relations strategies to enhance companys reputation and community engagementBuild and maintain relationships with community organizations, nonprofits, and government agenciesIdentify and support community initiatives and programs aligning with companys values and goalsCoordinate and participate in community events, sponsorships, and volunteer activitiesManage community relations budgets and resourcesCollaborate with internal stakeholders to align community relations efforts with business objectivesTrack and report on impact and effectiveness of community relations initiativesServe as a spokesperson for the company in communityrelated mattersStay updated on industry trends and best practices in community relations

Qualifications

YOU MUST HAVE

5+ years of experienceExpert with comprehensive knowledge in a specific area or leadership positionWorks under minimal supervisionProvide guidance and coaching to direct and/or indirect reportsLead project teams within the businessProven track record in developing and executing successful community relations strategiesStrong leadership and team management skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environmentExcellent interpersonal and networking skillsExperience in managing budgets and resources
