Specialist Software Engineer (JAVA FULLSTACK)

Responsibilities

Designing, developing, supporting, and enhancing applications using Java, Spring Boot, and Angular.

Design and develop RESTful APIs for seamless integration and data exchange across systems.

Actively participate in all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including requirements analysis, design, development, testing, deployment, and support.

Facilitate Agile/Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives to ensure effective team delivery.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions within the collateral domain.

Mentor team members, conduct code reviews, and ensure delivery of high-quality, production-ready code.

Troubleshoot and resolve production issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement long-term solutions.

Configure and manage CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and GitHub Actions for automated builds and deployments.

Ensure adherence to secure coding practices, internal control policies, and documentation standards.

Profile required

Developer with 7 years of industry experience in application development and delivery.

Strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Spring Batch, Oracle SQL, and Angular.

Ability to design high-performing, scalable, and resilient systems.

Significant experience in containerization and orchestration tools such as Kubernetes and Docker.

Proficient in GitHub, version control systems, and CI/CD automation pipelines.

Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving abilities.

Skilled in stakeholder management and coordinating with upstream and downstream systems.

Extensive experience in conducting code reviews and enforcing coding standards across teams.

Strong communication and technical documentation skills.
