Role Overview

As a Specialist – Batch Integrations & ETL, you will be part of the Batch & ETL integration platform team, contributing to building and maintaining a stable, scalable, and secure batch / bulk integration environment. You will support the design, development, and enhancement of ETL processes aligned with Baxter Enterprise Architecture (EA) and Enterprise Security (ES) standards.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in IBM Datastage, Informatica, AWS cloud technologies, Python, and PySpark, along with a good understanding of ETL integration patterns and modern data engineering practices.

Support the Batch Integration and ETL platform as a key contributorDesign, develop, and maintain ETL workflows using Datastage, Informatica, and AWS-based data servicesBuild and optimize data pipelines using Python and PySpark for large-scale data processingCollaborate with architecture, security, and infrastructure teams to align with enterprise standardsWork with development teams to deliver integration solutions supporting business capabilitiesTroubleshoot and resolve platform and data pipeline issuesAssist in implementing enhancements based on evolving technology trends and business needsSupport DevOps practices including CI/CD pipelines and automated deploymentsEnsure adherence to data quality, security, and compliance standardsParticipate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to sprint deliverables

What you'll bring

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field5-7 years of experience in Batch Integration, ETL development, or Data EngineeringHands-on experience with IBM Datastage and/or InformaticaStrong experience with AWS cloud services (such as S3, Glue, EMR, Lambda, Redshift,EC2,IAM)Proficiency in Python and experience with PySpark for distributed data processingGood understanding of ETL and batch integration patternsExperience with job scheduling tools such as Control-MUnderstanding of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelinesFamiliarity with Agile development methodologiesStrong problem-solving and analytical skillsAbility to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
