This role sits within Hospital Patient Monitoring (HPM), which provides advanced monitoring solutions for acute care settings. From bedside and transport monitors to centralized systems, HPM helps clinicians identify at-risk patients and intervene quickly. The position is based in Bangalore, a key hub supporting innovation and collaboration across Philips.

Your Role

Participate in the full software development lifecycle, from requirements analysis to deploymentDesign and develop scalable, secure, and maintainable applications using C# and .NET technologiesImplement front-end components and integrate them with backend servicesDevelop and execute unit, integration, and system tests to ensure quality and reliabilityConduct code reviews to maintain coding standards and best practicesCollaborate with DevOps teams for deployment and monitoringDiagnose and resolve software defects, ensuring optimal performanceCreate and maintain technical documentation (architecture diagrams, API specs, user guides)Stay updated on emerging technologies and apply innovative solutionsMentor junior developers and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement.

You're The Right Fit If

Experience:Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology6–10 years as a Full Stack Developer with strong C# expertiseCore Skills:Proficient in C# language fundamentals and OOP concepts (classes, interfaces, inheritance, LINQ, async/await, exception handling)Hands-on experience with ASP.NET Core for backend developmentStrong understanding of RESTful API design and implementationFront-end proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks like Angular, React, or Node.jsFamiliarity with UI/UX principles and responsive designDatabase & Integration:Experience with MS SQL Server or PostgreSQLKnowledge of Entity Framework, database migrations, and query optimization.Awareness of SMTP, SNMP, and observability frameworks (good to have)Cloud & DevOps:Experience with AWS or AzureFamiliarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools (e.g., GitHub Actions)Skilled in Docker and containerized deploymentsUnderstanding of microservices architecture and Kubernetes (preferred)Additional:Comfortable working in Agile/Scrum environmentsStrong debugging and troubleshooting skillsExcellent communication and collaboration abilities
