Job Description

Honeywell is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Software Test Automation Engineer to design, develop, and maintain automated test solutions for enterprise and cloud-based applications. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in Java, Selenium WebDriver, API testing, and test automation frameworks, with a passion for delivering high-quality software through modern testing practices.

As a member of the engineering team, you will collaborate closely with developers, product owners, and QA teams to ensure robust, scalable, and reliable software solutions.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Java and Selenium WebDriver.Develop and enhance automation frameworks using industry best practices.Create and execute functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end test scenarios.Perform API testing using tools such as Postman, Rest Assured, or similar technologies.Integrate automation suites with CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or equivalent tools.Analyze test results, identify defects, and work closely with development teams for issue resolution.Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.Maintain test documentation, execution reports, and testing metrics.Improve test coverage and optimize automation execution time.Ensure quality standards throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.3+ years of experience in software testing and automation.Strong programming skills in Java.Hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver and TestNG/JUnit.Experience in framework development and maintenance.Good understanding of object-oriented programming concepts.Experience with API testing tools and automation.Knowledge of SQL and database validation.Familiarity with Git, Maven, and version control systems.Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
